Axway MFT Operations Engineer (60%) (Ref. #26222)

Description: 

For a client in the financial services sector in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Axway MFT Operations Engineer to support and operate a business-critical Managed File Transfer platform.

  • Operate, maintain and support the enterprise Managed File Transfer platform based on Axway SecureTransport
  • Ensure secure, reliable and efficient file exchange between internal systems and external partners
  • Configure, administer, upgrade and troubleshoot Axway SecureTransport environments
  • Handle incidents, problems and operational requests in a production environment
  • Analyse logs and identify root causes of platform and transfer issues
  • Monitor platform availability, performance and file-transfer processes
  • Implement automation to improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain and configure secure communication protocols and certificates
  • Support integrations with enterprise systems and security platforms
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement within a DevOps-oriented environment
Requirements: 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Axway SecureTransport / Axway MFT
  • Experience operating SecureTransport platforms in complex enterprise environments, ideally within banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of secure file-transfer protocols:
    • SFTP
    • FTPS
    • HTTPS
    • AS2
    • SCP
  • Good understanding of:
    • SSL/TLS
    • PGP encryption
    • X.509 certificates
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration skills
  • Experience with Windows environments
  • Automation and scripting experience using:
    • Python
    • Bash / Shell
    • PowerShell
  • Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting and incident management
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and secure data-exchange principles
  • Experience integrating MFT platforms with technologies such as:
    • LDAP / Active Directory
    • SIEM platforms
    • Enterprise schedulers
    • Business applications
