Cookies

We use cookies to optimize the use of the website.

Cookies are small text files that record the websites you have visited on your computer and allow the website operator to recognize your computer when you visit again.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can instruct your browser not to accept any cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from a website you visit. You can also delete cookies on your computer or mobile device using the feature for doing so in your browser.

To enable or disable cookies in your web browser, check which web browser you are using and then select the relevant link below. On the page you are taken to, you will find instructions on how to enable or disable cookies in your web browser.

If you choose not to accept our cookies or cookies and tools from our partner companies, you will not be able to see certain information on our websites or use some features that improve your visit.

You can find more information on the use of cookies at the following website: www.allaboutcookies.org

Use of Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Clarity, a web analysis tool from Microsoft Corporation https://clarity.microsoft.com in the USA, to record individual visits with anonymized IP addresses. Among other things, Clarity uses cookies and a so-called tracking code for this purpose. The collected information is transmitted to Clarity and stored there. See Microsoft Privacy Statements. For more information about Clarity, see Clarity's Privacy Statement.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there.

If IP anonymization is activated for this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this site, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services related to usage of the website and internet usage for the website operator. The IP address transmitted to Google Analytics by your browser will not be merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, this may prevent you from using all of the features of this website to their fullest extent. In addition, you can prevent Google from recording the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin that is available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to present our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible - but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google reCAPTCHA

On some of our websites, we use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against bots and spam when submitting forms.

This Google service uses cookies, among other things, and as a result data is transferred to Google in the USA, whereby we assume that in this context no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website.

Google has undertaken to ensure adequate data protection in accordance with the American-European Privacy Shield and the American-Swiss Privacy Shield.

Further information can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. You can find more information about Google's data processing in the Google Privacy Policy. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection Center. Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider's data protection declaration.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However you will not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example via browser settings that generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or set your browser so that cookies are blocked by the "googleleadservices.com" domain.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
